Plan Your Visit to Rehabilitation & Specialized Care

When you arrive, check in at the reception desk in our main lobby. Be sure to have your ID with you every time you come. We’ll give you an access card so you can get onto your child’s nursing unit, or direct you to our Outpatient Center for regular therapy appointments.

Visiting Hours

For patients staying with us, we encourage parents to visit any time and often. We view you as part of the healthcare team and want you to feel at home.

Siblings and other visitor hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Café Menu and Hours

Our café accepts cash, Mastercard and Visa credit cards. We currently do not accept Apple or Google pay.  The café is closed on holidays. 

    Our café offers breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Please see below for café operations hours.

    Going on a tour is an easy way to learn about our facility and services and to see if Rehabilitation & Specialized Care is the right place for your child. We encourage you to schedule a tour of our hospital so that you can become familiar with our facility and services. Rehabilitation & Specialized Care is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the northeast edge of Washington, DC. Every detail of the hospital—the state-of-the art facilities, the warm, bright colors and the outdoor playgrounds and gardens—was built to provide a calm and soothing place for the whole family. You will have the chance to ask questions and see our state-of-the-art facilities first hand.
