ObGyns Encourage Colleagues to Create Welcoming Environments for Trans Teens
Veronica Gomez-Lobo, MD, Joseph E. Robert Jr. Center for Surgical Care, says obstetricians and gynecologists should create a welcoming office environment for transgender adolescents and should know how to care for those patients. Dr. Gomez-Lobo co-authored the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists committee statement on the issue.
