Rotations

2 weeks of orientation and education
18 weeks of inpatient consultant service with the option of splitting time between pediatrics and adult Hospice and Palliative Medicine
10 weeks of hospice rotation
4 weeks at a long-term care facility
One half-day per week of ambulatory experience including perinatal palliative care consults, outpatient palliative care visits, collaborative visits in Oncology, Neuro-oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, and telehealth encounters
2 weeks of anesthesia pain service
6 weeks of elective time which may include, but are not limited to:
- Ethics consultations
- Interventional pain management
- Pain outpatient clinic
- Prenatal Pediatrics Institute
- Complex Care inpatient or outpatient services
- Hematology-Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant
- Neurology
- Genetics
- Inpatient/outpatient rotations with partnering adult Hospice and Palliative Medicine Programs

4 weeks protected time for research to be used to complete scholarly project and quality improvement project
6 weeks of nonclinical time:
- 4 weeks of vacation
- 1 week of administrative time
- 1 week of continuing education/conference time
