What is Healthy Habits?
Healthy Habits is a family-centered program that focuses on nutrition, fitness and family communication. Join our 12-week program that includes an evaluation, 10 weekly nutrition classes, Saturday morning exercise classes and a follow-up meeting. Our classes are taught by a team of healthcare professionals at Rehabilitation & Specialized Care are trained to guide the entire family to healthier eating and fitness habits. Participants must commit to all 12 sessions.
Who can participate in Healthy Habits?
Healthy Habits is for kids ages 9-21 years old (and their parent(s)/caregiver(s)).
How does Healthy Habits help my child?
The whole family will see changes as a result of the Healthy Habits sessions:
Your family will gain healthier eating and fitness habits.
Your children and teens will learn to take responsibility for their eating choices and activity.
You will tune up your skills to encourage a healthier lifestyle at home.

What is Healthy Habits FUNdamentals?
Healthy Habits FUNdamentals is a parent-centered program that focuses on nutrition, fitness and family communication geared towards children ages 5 to 9 years old and their families. Join our five-week program that includes an evaluation and four weekly nutrition classes. Our classes are taught by a team of healthcare professionals at Rehabilitation & Specialized Care are trained to guide the entire family to healthier eating and fitness habits.

When do Healthy Habits and Healthy Habits FUNdamentals begin and how do I sign up?
Classes are offered quarterly. Please contact the Healthy Habits team for exact start dates. Please be advised that you must commit to the entire 12 weeks for the Healthy Habits program and the entire five weeks for the FUNdamentals program.
