2025-2026 Renovation Update
We will be renovating the Orthopaedics space at the Main Hospital from November 24, 2025, through April 15, 2026, as part of our commitment to providing exceptional care. This renovation will expand the area, creating a more spacious, efficient and welcoming environment for our patients and families.
During this time, your child’s appointment may take place in another area of the Main Hospital, at our Montgomery County location in Rockville or at our Friendship Heights location in Washington, D.C. Please review your appointment reminders carefully to confirm the correct location. We’re grateful for your patience and understanding as we make improvements to better serve our families.
Directions to the Temporary Orthopaedic Clinic at the Main Hospital
Patients and families may check in at either the Atrium or the East Wing welcome desks. From both locations, please follow the red‑dotted path shown on the map. Signs will be posted along the route to guide visitors.
If checking in at the Atrium:
- After passing security, start at the Atrium Check-In desk
- Follow the red‑dotted pathway around the outside edge of the Atrium area
- You have reached the North Hallway. As a landmark, the Dental Clinic will be on your left
- Look for signs guiding you to the Temporary Orthopaedic Clinic Entrance located on your right-hand side
If checking in at the East Wing:
- After passing security, start at the East Wing Check-In desk
- Head toward the hallway that leads toward the Atrium
- Continue following the signs as the route curves behind the Atrium
- Proceed into the North Hallway. As a landmark, the Dental Clinic will be on your left
- The Temporary Orthopaedic Clinic Entrance will be marked with signage located on your right-hand side
