<p>Join Children's National for a two-day, round table discussion on DIPG biology, clinical trials, immunology and more.</p>
Children's National Health System will host a focused group round table discussion in Washington, D.C., in fall 2018 to bring together investigators, neurosurgeons and clinicians representing North America, Europe and Australia. The meeting will take place over two days: Day one will be a closed session dedicated to DIPG biology; day two will be an open session where DIPG families can participate in discussion about clinical trials, immunology and data/specimen processing, banking and access.
The Children's National DIPG Round Table will:
- Inform the DIPG research/clinical community of ongoing and unpublished efforts
- Identify collaborative avenues using newly realized resources
- Develop an overarching, shared philosophy regarding the next steps in DIPG research
- Publish a report outlining the identified obstacles and solutions
