This Enrichment Lecture Series webinar hosted by the Center for Translational Research will feature Michelle L. McGowan, Ph.D., as our guest lecturer.
Michelle L. McGowan, Ph.D., is a Research Associate Professor in the Ethics Center at Cincinnati Children’s and the Departments of Pediatrics and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at University of Cincinnati. She holds a Ph.D. in Women Studies from the University of Washington and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Bioethics at the Center for Genetic Research Ethics and Law of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. McGowan studies the ethical and social implications of reproductive and genomic technologies and policies. She currently leads an NHGRI-funded study on implications of facilitating adolescent and young adults’ decision-making about receiving actionable genomic research results.
