Description

Join experts at the Nursing Child Health Advocacy Committee who will be on hand to answer your questions on popular health topics. They will also educate Children’s National staff about the committee and encourage participation.

Experts will be available to meet with patients, families, and the community to answer questions on popular health topics, as well as to educate Children’s staff about the Nursing Child Health Advocacy Committee and to encourage participation on their committee.

More than 40 years ago, Children’s National established the nation’s first hospital-based office focused exclusively on child health advocacy. The Nursing Child Health Advocacy Committee, in collaboration with Community Affairs and the Child Health Advocacy Institute, provides education and tools to empower the professional nurse and other stakeholders locally, nationally, and globally to take action to advocate for the health and well-being of children.
