Clinical Research Internship
This externship represents a unique opportunity for undergraduate, graduate and medical students to directly participate in clinical research projects, attend research, healthcare and clinical operations-related lectures, observe overall ED operations, interact with physicians, nurses and other healthcare personnel, and create mentorship relationships with physicians.
Emergency Medical Services
Children's National is leveraging the expertise and data of our emergency department teams with our local emergency response system to provide improvements in pediatric medical care. EMSC is a national program that works to improve the quality of pediatric medical care, with the goal of reducing childhood morbidity and mortality that results from severe illness or trauma.
