Studying Outcomes of Autistic Individuals Transitioning to Adulthood

Project Description

This study looks at how access to services and self-determination and executive functioning (problem solving and planning) skills might influence daily living skills (taking care of oneself, taking care of a living space, and getting around in the community) and how changes in self-care, domestic, and community skills influence autistic individuals' quality of life as they transition out of high school. 

Who Can Participate

  • Teens/young adults in their last two years of high school or enrolled in a transition program
  • Autistic teens/young adults or individuals who meet eligibility based on diagnostic screening scores
  • Individuals with a full-scale IQ (FSIQ) greater than 50
