Understanding BMT Survival Rate Outcomes
The chart below shows the following information:
- The outcomes in the chart are results for allogeneic transplants only, which use cells from a matched or partially matched donor (either related or unrelated).
- Survival rates represent the percentage of patients who survive 1 year after their transplant.
- To allow time to track patient outcomes, each year shown reflects 3 years of combined data.
- The Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research® (CIBMTR) compares survival outcomes across hospitals in the United States
