Food Allergy Mastery Program Study

About the Study

We are completing a research project about the Food Allergy Mastery (FAM) Program: a virtual program for kids and parents that will help them manage their food allergies and fit food allergies into everyday life.

Who should participate?

This study is a good fit for kids 10-15 years old who have had a diagnosed food allergy for at least one year.

What can families expect?

Families will be placed at random to either the FAM Program or usual care. Families in the FAM Program group will learn how parents and kids can share food allergy management responsibilities. They will also learn ways to handle stress and anxiety in social situations related to food allergies.

All study visits are completed via Zoom on a day and time that works for each family. All families in the study can earn up to $325 for their participation.
