Greetings from Dr. DiFazio

This month we have several resources for you, including a link to make cardiology referrals in minutes. Our Cardiology team cares for patients at 20 locations across the region

I’m also proud to share that a team of researchers led by Cath Bollard, MD, MBChB, published promising results using T-cell immunotherapy for children with DIPG, relapsed brain cancers and other aggressive brain tumors. I invite you to read more about this specific study and learn about other trials that might benefit your patients.

Finally, if you attended our 2026 Future of Pediatrics program, please remember to claim your CE credit by Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. You can reference all presentations here.

Thank you for all that you do for kids in our region!
