Combined Child Neurology Track

The Child Neurology (NEU) Track is a five-year comprehensive training curriculum that provides residents with combined training in pediatrics and child neurology that is designed to prepare physicians to diagnose and treat a wide range of child neurology disorders. It allows for board certification in both General Pediatrics and Child Neurology.

During their first and second years, the Preliminary Child Neurology Track residents have 24 months of focused training in keeping with the ACGME requirements for general pediatrics. They leave the pediatric residency program at the end of their second year and transition into the Child Neurology Residency Program.

    Quotes from Residents

I was very impressed by the passion and collegiality that I observed between the faculty and the fellows on my interview day during the weekly intake conference. In addition, I knew I wanted to train at a large academic institution with a diverse patient population and a wide variety of disease presentations.
