Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship

We are excited about your interest in our ACGME-accredited one-year clinical pediatric dermatology fellowship at Children’s National Hospital/George Washington (GW) University School of Medicine.

Our Dermatology Division is special in many regards. The diversity of our patient population is unparalleled in multiple realms, and the volume and complexity of our patients is high, in part due to proximity to the National Institutes of Health. We care for our patients in a multidisciplinary manner with other pediatric and dermatologic specialists. Formal multidisciplinary clinics include hidradenitis suppurativa, vulvar dermatology, vascular anomalies and rheumatology-dermatology. We are also uniquely positioned to work with four local dermatology residency programs in the clinical, consultative and didactic setting.

During training, there is ample opportunity to pursue academic and research endeavors while retaining work-life balance and enjoying all the history and culture that Washington, D.C., has to offer. By the end of their year, the fellow will feel comfortable managing the range of pediatric dermatology conditions from the bread-and-butter to complex medical and consultative dermatology in all skin types. We offer a flexible start date of July 1 or August 1.
