The Administrative Fellowship Program at Children's National is a one-year, rotation-based program to give graduate-level students exposure to all aspects of the health system. Fellows gain broad and meaningful experience through structured rotations across key clinical and operational areas, including hospital operations, ambulatory services, hospital-based specialties and surgical services. In addition to core rotations, fellows customize their experience through elective opportunities aligned with their professional interests and career goals, with options such as strategy, finance, patient experience, information technology, quality and safety, and other enterprise-wide initiatives. The goals of the fellowship are to cultivate strong, values-driven leaders with the skills, confidence and perspective needed to navigate complex healthcare environments and drive meaningful organizational impact.
