Cicely "CC" Brooks, DNP-ENL, MSN, RN, NE-BC, FAB
Cicely “CC” Brooks, DNP-ENL, MSN, RN, NE-BC, FAB, is the senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Children’s National Hospital.
Brooks joins Children’s National from Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, where she served as vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nurse executive. She brings more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience across inpatient, outpatient and specialty services in both pediatric and adult care. Her scope of leadership has included oversight of nursing, pharmacy and behavioral health services, with a strong focus on quality, safety, workforce development and patient-centered care.
Brooks earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Florida and her master’s degree in nursing administration from Jacksonville University. She completed her doctorate in executive nurse leadership at Baylor University. She is a board-certified nurse executive and a fellow of the Advisory Board.
