The Gilbert Family Neurofibromatosis Institute at Children’s National hosts an annual NF Family Day. Each year, families affected by neurofibromatosis are invited to a day of educational presentations and discussions hosted by NF clinicians and researchers at Children’s National, in partnership with the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF).

- Plexiform neurofibromas: State of the science
- Headaches in NF1
- Pain and NF1
- Genetic testing in NF1
Our keynote speaker, Pamela Wolters, PhD, Senior Associate Scientist at the National Cancer Institute, will share the latest research on assessing pain in individuals with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1).
