Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Outcomes Data

Children’s National Hospital is home to the only specialized Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) in the greater Washington, D.C., area. Physicians in the CICU are trained in multiple specialties including pediatrics, critical care, cardiology and anesthesiology. Many are board-certified in several or all of these specialties.
