About Our Institute
The Zickler Family Prenatal Pediatrics Institute at Children’s National is strategically focused on the prenatal-neonatal pediatrics continuum and collaborates with the neonatology team on all unborn-to-newborn care.
We provide the highest level of comprehensive counseling to the patients we share with you and formulate the most effective care plans for at-risk infants at and after birth – wherever the delivery occurs – and convey these recommendations to our colleagues caring for the baby.
Referral Support Services
Our physician liaison is a registered nurse with experience in pediatric intensive care and interventional cardiology. She is a dedicated resource to referring obstetricians and maternal-prenatal medicine specialists. She is available to:
- Discuss advanced testing and specialized care programs that may benefit your patients
- Help coordinate referrals to the Prenatal Pediatrics Institute
- Answer questions about how Children’s National partners with referring providers
