Sheikh Zayed Institute Innovation Showcased During World Government Summit in Dubai
During the 2016 World Government Summit in Dubai, a global meeting focused on the government's role in advancing technology through innovation, the Ministry of Health showcased technology from the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation during a separate exhibition called 'Edge of Government.' mGene, a facial recognition application developed to help detect genetic anomalies in newborns, is featured along with eleven innovations showcased during the 'Eduge of Government' innovation experience during the World Government Summit. Experts from the Sheikh Zayed Institute are currently collaborating with Al Qassimi Hospital, using mGene.
