Children's National Researchers Contributed to New Sesame Workshop Autism Initiative Launch

Last week, phase two of the Sesame Workshop's autism initiative, "Sesame Street and Autism: See Amazing in all Children," began by releasing 12 videos featuring children with autism and Julia, a preschool Muppet with autism. The Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit educational organization, enlisted researchers at Children's National and Georgetown University to study autism stereotypes and how to foster understanding and acceptance of autism.
