In 2024, they are the winners of the 10th annual DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in Patient Safety. 

The Nurse Navigators are a beacon of support for pediatric patients and families, embodying our core values of compassion, commitment and connection. They provide a crucial service to ease the family’s burden by streamlining communication and care processes across the spectrum of care, fostering a lasting connection with patients and families. Since 2012, they’ve been dedicated to lightening the load for families navigating the complexities of healthcare. 

Through their seamless coordination and dedication, the Nurse Navigator team ensures every child and family feels not just cared for, but truly safe. In 2023, they helped over 700 children and families, guiding them through their healthcare journey with empathy and understanding.  

Their role is more than just guiding; they’re lifelines, bridging gaps in care and communication to ensure a positive and secure experience for everyone involved. Their support and collaboration are critical to patients, families and colleagues.
