About Children's National Pediatricians & Associates
Friendship Pediatrics is now CNPA Chevy Chase. You may notice updates around the office, but our location, hours, phone number, pediatricians and staff remain the same.

After meeting and becoming close friends during residency training at Children's National Hospital, Leah Brasch, M.D., and Linda Goldstein, M.D., opened their own pediatric practice in Friendship Heights in Chevy Chase. They have been serving patients in the neighborhood as well as Washington, D.C., and Montgomery County for more than 30 years. Joining the Children's National family has allowed the practice to expand capabilities and resources to care for you and your family, including easier access to Children’s National specialists.
Your child deserves the best care. At Children's National Pediatricians & Associates (CNPA) Chevy Chase, we offer high-quality, accessible, personalized and compassionate pediatric services for children from birth to young adulthood. Our board-certified pediatricians focus on the needs of your child. Because each child has unique healthcare needs that change as they grow, our team understands the importance of focusing on your child’s individual physical and developmental progress.
The CNPA Chevy Chase care team offers routine primary care which includes timely sick visits, management of chronic conditions as well as well-child care including school/sport physicals and immunizations.
How We Care for Your Family
Pediatric primary care serves as a medical home for your child. We learn all we can about your child’s health history, social behaviors, medications or any specialists seen. This knowledge helps build a lasting patient/provider relationship with services that are integrated and focused on the well-being of your child.
All CNPA offices have received National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition. We are proud of this recognition, as it demonstrates our commitment to patient-centered, coordinated care for our children and families.
Our passion is serving children and their families. We understand the great privilege a parent entrusts in us to deliver the right care at the right time, in a safe and affordable way. This passion for excellence is our cornerstone.
Immunization Policy
The team at CNPA firmly believes in the effectiveness of immunizations to prevent serious illnesses and save lives. We also firmly believe in the safety of immunizations. Our offices follow the immunization schedule outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which has been scientifically tested for safety and efficacy.
There is no such thing as an approved "alternative" immunization schedule. We will be happy to provide information to help you understand the science behind immunizations, as we have a commitment to our patients to keep them safe and provide the best pediatric care available. This includes giving immunizations on time, according to the CDC/AAP schedule.
Patient Portal
Children’s National Pediatricians & Associates' Patient Portal is a safe and secure website that will allow parents to access certain parts of their children’s medical records. The Patient Portal is accessible using computers, tablets and smartphones.
