Employee Spotlight: Jackie Massay
Jackie Massay is celebrating a dedicated and remarkable 40 years as the heart and soul of our CNPA practices.
When Jackie Massay first joined CNPA 40 years ago, pediatric care looked very different. Medical records were kept on paper, billing was tracked with index cards and there were no cell phones. Providers performed throat cultures and stitched wounds right in the office, and the practice accepted only one insurance plan. Offices were open seven days a week, including holidays.
While things may have seemed simpler back then, the advancements over the past four decades have been remarkable, and Jackie has played a key role in CNPA’s transformation every step of the way.
Jackie transitioned to primary care from an inpatient role on May 29, 1985, and never looked back.

She began as an RN for two CNPA locations in 1999. Jackie continued to grow in her role and became the manager of those practices in 2008, and then began managing the Bowie site as well in 2014.
Thanks to Jackie, we’ve witnessed and been part of profound transformations. She has ensured that her team has the resources and motivation to weather the changes in healthcare. She has made sure her team doesn't just survive but thrives, even through some of those most challenging times during the pandemic.
