Call Us First

As an established patient, you receive after-hours pediatric triage service supported by Children’s National on-call doctors.

Our Promise

"Call Us First" is our promise to our patients’ families to provide medical advice before you take your child to an urgent care or emergency room.

How it Works

Call your child's primary care office after hours and you'll be routed to an on-call doctor who can provide medical advice.

Call Your Pediatrician

Find the phone number for your pediatrician's office and call to speak to the on-call provider.

Afterhours Telemedicine Visits

Children’s National primary care has partnered with Hello Pediatrics, a group of board-certified pediatricians, to provide virtual after-hours telemedicine appointments and nurse advice wherever you are. Your pediatrician will also follow up after your visit.
