Biography

Kathleen Brown, M.D., is Medical Director of the Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center at Children's National Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include pre-hospital care of children, family-centered care, and pediatric preparedness of emergency departments. She serves as the Children's National Site Principal investigator for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN). Dr. Brown also is the chair of the ACEP Pediatric Committee and project director for the DC EMSC State partnership grant.
