Edward ‘Ed’ Sepe, M.D., completed his undergraduate education in animal physiology and neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego, with minors in Spanish and political science. He attended medical school at the UC San Francisco–UC Berkeley Joint Medical Program, during which he completed a thesis in tobacco control. He left California to complete a residency at Children’s National Hospital.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Sepe oversees the primary care residents in our clinic and coordinates their training with the Children’s National general pediatric residency program. He also serves as chief informatics officer for Children's National Pediatricians & Associates, a role where he manages optimization of our electronic health records along with ongoing provider training.
