Daryl Jacob, C.A.A., is a practitioner in the Children's National Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Department. He was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he graduated with a B.S. in neurobiology and physiology. His first experience at Children’s was shadowing anesthesiologist Nina Deutsch, M.D. at the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation. He later went on to do research as an intern at the Johns Hopkins Khoeler Laboratory, specifically in cerebrovascular autoregulation following cortical impact.
Daryl attended Case Western Reserve University where he obtained his master’s degree in anesthesiology and then returned to Children’s to specialize in pediatric anesthesia. Outside of the hospital, Daryl enjoys exploring the world, sailing and polo.
