Aisha Meertins, LICSW, LCSW-C, is a social worker at Children's National Hospital.
She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in social work from the Catholic University of America. Ms. Meertins provides outpatient therapy services to children, teens and families to treat a variety of behavioral health disorders, including ADHD, anxiety and depression.
She has a specific interest in treatment of eating disorders and is trained in family-based therapy for anorexia nervosa. She also provides cognitive behavior therapy for other eating disorders, including bulimia nervosa.
