At Children’s National Hospital, we take many precautions to protect our patients, families and staff. At this time, masking is optional at all Children's National locations. We request that visitors experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or other contagious illness to please stay home at this time.

COVID-19 Family and Caregiver Visitation Policy

We are taking extra steps to protect our patients, families and staff, including updating our visitation policy. Two parents/caregivers can accompany a child for an appointment or ED visit and two parents/caregivers can be at a child’s bedside at a time.
