Biography

Susan Verghese, M.D., is an experienced pediatric anesthesiologist and has taken care of children at Children's National over these last 26 years. She is an international expert in ultrasound assisted vascular access in children and often is sought out to help with difficult vascular access and difficult airway. She enjoys her job because she considers it a calling to safely anesthetize children with simple or complicated medical history during any type of surgery.
