Robert Henshaw, M.D., is the director of Orthopaedic Oncology at Children’s National Hospital. Dr. Henshaw is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery specializes in orthopaedic oncology. He is renowned for introducing minimally invasive procedures for children with bone tumors and performing cutting-edge limb sparing surgery for children with sarcomas (cancer of the musculoskeletal system) using a variety of innovative techniques including expandable implants for growing children. He is also a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
