Mi Ran Shin, M.D., M.P.H., is an assistant professor of pediatrics and a pediatric physiatrist at Children's National Hospital. She is a graduate of Cornell University and Korea University of Medicine. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and completed her Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship at Children’s National Hospital. She also completed her Master’s in Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a focus on injury prevention for children with disabilities and advocacy for children with disabilities.
Dr. Shin serves as pediatric physiatrist in a few multidisciplinary clinics including: Leukodystrophy Clinic, Neuro-oncology Clinic, Neurofibromatosis Clinic and Spina Bifida Clinic. She also serves a consultant in Safe Kids DC for children with disabilities and has a special interest in injury prevention.
She is the associate program director for the Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship at Children’s National.
