Matthew T. Whitehead, M.D., is a pediatric neuroradiologist and Associate Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics at Children’s National. After completing his radiology residency at the University of Virginia, he completed a neuroradiology fellowship at UCSD and a pediatric neuroradiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. His clinical and research interests include congenital genetic and metabolic diseases, fetal brain MRI, posterior fossa disorders, neuroanatomy and advanced imaging procedures including MR spectroscopy.
