Ashley Muskett, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of autism in children. She has extensive experience with non-speaking/partially verbal youth with autism, assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders in youth with autism, and training in coaching parents to manage complex behaviors such as aggression and self-injury.
Ashley received her Ph.D., in clinical psychology from Virginia Tech in 2021. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children/VCU Health where she worked primarily with youth receiving inpatient crisis care.
Her research focuses on the assessment and treatment of anxiety for non-speaking/partially verbal children with autism, as well as inpatient and crisis care for these youth.
