Tanya Davis, M.D., completed her Urology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and prior to that received her medical degree from Albany Medical College. She is a graduate of the Leadership in Medicine Program at Union College, where she simultaneously completed her undergraduate work and an MS in Healthcare Management. She recently completed a 2-year fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Children's National Hospital. During her fellowship training, Dr. Davis also completed a Residency Fellowship in Health Policy at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. The purpose of this fellowship was to augment understanding of US health policy and its implications for urologic practice. Dr. Davis was initially drawn to Pediatric Urology as a sub-specialization of Urology due to the special nature of the relationship between a physician, a child, and their family, fostering this relationship is a top priority in her practice. Her research interests include quality improvement and process mapping with the goal of helping patients and their families receive the best urologic care in a safe, efficient manner.
