During this time, she was also a research fellow in the Harvard-wide Health Services Research Fellowship program and completed her Masters in Public Health at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. As a Health Services researcher, she has authored or co-authored numerous journal articles and chapters on a variety of topics related to how patients access and utilize surgical care, as well as assessing the value of care received. Her research currently focuses on investigating health disparities among patients with chronic genitourinary conditions and preventing emergency visits.

As a physician, Dr. Varda is passionate about providing excellent care to all patients. As a mother herself, she believes connecting with families is an integral part of doing this.
