Research and Education Week 2018

In our efforts to help your kids grow up stronger, Children's National celebrated its eighth annual Research and Education Week (REW) in April, showcasing faculty, staff and trainees' scholarly achievements. Hosted by the Children's National Research Institute, all hospital community members were welcome to attend workshops, discussions and poster Q&A sessions. Attendees also met our special guest lecturers and research awardees. This year's theme: Diversity Powers Innovations.

Children’s National authors shared research that matters to you and your family during REW 2018. Dr. Nathan Anthony Smith, recipient of the 2018 President’s Award for Innovation in Research, discussed potential ADHD and epilepsy novel therapeutics with an attendee.
