Northern Virginia Magazine names 95 Children’s National physicians "Top Doctors"

WASHINGTON –- The annual "Top Doctors" list from Northern Virginia Magazine features 95 Children’s National Hospital care providers across 27 specialties. The prestigious list includes Children’s National physicians from many of our nationally-ranked programs, including Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neonatology, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology and Urology. "Children’s National Hospital is deeply committed to serving the families of Northern Virginia, so this recognition of our doctors from the region’s top magazine is enormously gratifying," said Kurt Newman, M.D., president and CEO of Children’s National Hospital. Nominations for Northern Virginia Magazine’s list of "Top Doctors" are generated by a peer survey and panels from eight local hospitals. Each panel nominated the doctors based on internal evaluations, patient reviews, patient access, training and quality of records. This year’s recognized physicians from Children’s National include:
