Children’s National Hospital offers comprehensive internship and externship programs in Child Life Services, neuropsychology, and psychology. Our internship and externship programs are intensive, clinically based programs that offer students hands on experience delivering the highest quality of care designed with kids in mind.

Children's National offers a Child Life Practicum Program to individuals who are interested in becoming a certified child life specialist with academic training in the fields of child life, child development, early childhood education, psychology and other related disciplines.
Children’s National offers a Child Life Services Shadow Program for individuals 18 years and older that are interested in learning more about the field of child life.
Our internship is an intensive, clinically based program which meets the child life certification requirements regarding clinical experience.
Children’s National offers a broadcast studio for children, donated by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.
