The collaborating sites for the Zika Genetics Consortium come from several countries including Puerto Rico, Brazil and Colombia with Children's National Hospital serving as the coordinating site. Additionally the Consortium is supported by Zika in Infancy and Pregnancy (ZIP).

The ZIP study is an international, multisite collaboration to determine the association between Zika during pregnancy and fetal outcomes/associated risks. The study aims to enroll up to 10,000 mother/infant pairs, from whom they will receive biospecimens and data. The Zika Genetics Consortium has been granted approval to request these samples, and we will use the resulting analysis to further our goals.

For more info on ZIP, please visit the NIH page and their ClinicalTrials.gov page.
