On December 12, 2016, First Lady Michelle Obama and Ryan Seacrest visited patients, families and staff members at Children’s National. Joined by Santa and First Dogs Sunny and Bo, the First Lady and Ryan met and talked with patients and families, read a Christmas story, and answered questions from children. First Lady visits to Children’s National are a tradition dating back to Bess Truman and help spread cheer to children and families who can’t go home for the holidays.
