Outpatient Therapy at HSC
At HSC, your child will be evaluated and a therapy plan developed that identifies goals based on your child's needs. We ask that you, or another guardian, participate in all therapy sessions to learn how to best meet these goals.

Your therapist will determine how much therapy is best for your child’s needs and will work with you to create a plan of care based on:
- Your child's ability to benefit from and participate in therapy
- Your child's level of development based on their age and medical condition
- Your ability to participate in therapy sessions and home programming.

A parent or caregiver MUST be present during each appointment. The therapist will teach you activities to practice at home so that you and your child get the most from therapy sessions.

Your therapist will help you determine what is needed for each session.

Your therapist will give you instructions for a program to use with your child at home and in the community.

If you have private health insurance, be sure to check with your insurance plan to make sure they cover therapy services and that HSC is a participating provider. Or, you can call us and we will check for you or discuss a payment plan.
