Upcoming COVID-19 Primary Care Town Hall

Children's National invites you to attend our next provider town hall on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at noon. Bud Wiedermann, M.D., M.A.,, a Children's National infectious disease specialist, and other key speakers, will provide a situational update on COVID-19, including vaccine developments and other important information that may affect you and your practice.

Celebrating the One-Year Anniversary of the Division of Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery

The first integrated center for pediatric colorectal care in the mid-Atlantic region, Children's National Division of Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, helped over 340 patients across 33 states and 21 countries in its first year. The team pioneered innovative surgical techniques to improve care, including a new type of colostomy for newborn anorectal malformations.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Convenient Locations

Children's National offers Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation experts at convenient community locations treating and monitoring infants, children and teens at all stages of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care. We are accepting patients in Annapolis, Montgomery County, Prince George's County and at the main hospital.

Takoma Theatre: Spotlight on Psychology and Behavioral Health

Our team of over 30 child psychologists and other mental health professionals with our Psychology and Behavioral Health team understand the unique behavioral health needs of children and adolescents. Working together with each patient's primary care provider and family, we find the most appropriate treatments to address each child's psychological challenges, promote psychological wellness and restore each child's quality of life. We offer both in-person and telehealth visits.

Lab Services at Montgomery County

The on-site lab at Children's National Montgomery County aims to streamline care for patients and families. With pediatric trained phlebotomists on site, as well as a processing lab, we can conduct blood draws, urine/stool drop-off and other lab work the same day as patients' appointments, all in one convenient location. Services are walk-in only.

Important Gateway Provider Portal Announcement

Children's National will roll out a new platform for the existing Gateway provider portal, effective December 1. If you currently have access to Gateway, you will be able to maintain your existing user name and password. Please join us at our December 1 COVID-19 Primary Care town hall to learn more about this update.

Business of Pediatrics Registration is Open

This year's Business of Pediatrics CME program will take place virtually on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The program will be a half-day, online experience with dynamic speakers and panel presentations from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Registration is now open.
