Children's National Emergency Department at United Medical Center has Closed

En Español
United Medical Center has permanently closed all services as of April 15, 2025, including the Children’s National UMC Emergency Department. The closure occurred with the April 15 opening of Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health, a new privately-operated, full-service hospital, located on the St. Elizabeth's East campus in Ward 8. Children’s National doctors will be providing pediatric emergency room care at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health starting April 15. We remain committed to your and your family's health during this transition.
