Research Interests
Dr. Yu's research interests include the mechanisms of dopamine-mediated signal transduction through a variety of enzymes including protein kinase A and protein kinase C and phospholipase C.

Her research also includes the study of how dopamine receptors, including D1R and D5R, regulate NADPH oxidase enzymes in lipid rafts in rat and human renal proximal tubule (RPT) cells (In vitro) and in rat animal model (In vivo), as well as how lipid rafts are associated with human hypertension.
