Research Interests
Jeffrey Dome, MD, PhD, is chair of the Renal Tumor Committee for the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), which oversees clinical trials for Wilms tumor and other childhood kidney cancers in more than 200 children’s hospitals. Dr. Dome’s laboratory research focuses on the telomere biology of pediatric cancers. He is studying the effect of novel telomerase inhibitors on pediatric solid tumors and telomere maintenance mechanisms in osteosarcoma and Wilms tumor.
