Research Interests
Anupama Rao Tate, DMD, is the acting chief of the Division of Dentistry at Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Tate is the residency director of the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program. She joined Children’s National Medical Center in August of 2001. She came from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she graduated magna cum laude. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She serves on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Council of Clinical Affairs. Her research interests lie in the effect of severe early childhood caries and comprehensive dental intervention on weight of children.
