Research Interests
Linda Yu-Sing Fu, MD, MSc is a general pediatrician in the Department of General Pediatrics and Community Health at Children's Hospital where she has been on staff since 2006. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego Medical School and completed a pediatric residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. She completed a Masters of Science from Tufts University in Clinical Research where her thesis examined risk factors for amoxicillin treatment failure for severe pneumonia in children in the developing world. Dr. Fu has served as a research consultant for the AHRQ Evidence Based Practice Center at Tufts-New England Medical Center where she worked on meta-analyses and systematic reviews of various topics. She has published on a variety of subjects including pneumonia, sinusitis, gastroesophageal reflux, apparent life threatening events and sudden infant death syndrome. Her current research interests include sudden infant death syndrome, as well as vaccination practices. Dr. Fu is currently collaborating with the DC Immunization Registry to examine and improve vaccination rates in DC's underserved populations.
